Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar

(A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour (Nov. 26, 1870 – Dec. 25, 1949). by his lifetime saving. This 18th University of India and the oldest and the biggest University of Madhya Pradesh has perhaps the singular distinction of being founded by the munificence of a single person's hard earned money of about two crore of rupees. Apart from being a great jurist and legal luminary par excellence, he was a great Patriot, Philanthropist, Educationist and Social Reformer.

Educational Multimedia Research Centre, Sagar

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has setup 21 Educational Multimedia Research Centres (EMMRC’s) popularly called media centres across the country. These are basically designed for production of quality educational T.V. programmes/e-content and MOOC etc. EMRC -Sagar is one of the vibrant and prestigious centre among 22 Media Centres in the country and is established in Dr. Harisingh Gour University by the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 31st Jan.1994 among UGC, New Delhi; Consortium of Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi and Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.) Though this Media Centre is like any other department of this University but owing to its different kind of job-description, it is constituted as an Academic, Non-vacation centre with administrative, academic, financial and budgetary autonomy in its functioning.

Prof. Neelima Gupta

Prof. Neelima Gupta, is an academician with an in-depth knowledge and profound skills set in teaching pedagogy, research, education and administration. Her career experience spans around 40 years and, presently she is the Vice Chancellor of Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University Sagar (M.P). She holds Doctorate in Science (D.Sc.), from MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. As an educationist and an expert trainer, she had imparted training to members of several institutions and organisations. She has been a pioneer in teaching and research with focus on Animal Science. Owing to her skill sets in education and administration, she was nominated as member, advisor, expert in several institutions across the nation.

Dr. PANKAJ TIWARI

Over 30 years experience in the field of Educational Television Programmes Production, e- content programme development, MOOCs development, Documentary film making, Script writing, Theatre, Music, Folklore, Radio and Culture. Also worked as theatre critic, writer and culture activist.

Presently, Director in Educational Multimedia Research Centre , Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M.P.)

Produced and Directed 700+ Educational television Programmes and Documentary films, 1300+ e –content programmes and 2400 SLOs (Short Learning Object) programmes.
