National Viewership Survey

The “National Viewership Survey on UGC-CEC Vyas Higher Education Channel telecast through (Cable and Satellite) C&S and DD DTH” Has been conducted by the media centres located in various parts of the country.

The centres were given responsibility to conduct the survey on the basis of questionnaire sample methodology finalized and allotted to them. On the whole 14 media centres collected data from the following zones: East, North, South, West, North-East and Central.

Under the central zone EMRC Sagar collected the data from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. A multistage stratified sampling was used to select the respondents. The main purpose of the study was to assess the current viewership of Vyas channel in terms of its reach and quality by the student community studying in higher education in the country.

The total size of the sample collected by EMRC Sagar is approximately 2000 from diverse community of students.
